Intro

Sysomos is a unified, insights-driven social platform that lets marketers search, discover, listen, publish, engage, and analyze at scale across earned, owned, and paid media. Use Domo's Sysomos connector to compile analytics reports for blogs, forums, news, and Twitter. To learn more about the Sysomos API, visit their page (https://sysomos.com/products/api-data-partners/).

You connect to your Sysomos account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Sysomos connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Sysomos account and create a DataSet, you must have a Sysomos API key. If you do not have an API key, reach out to your Sysomos account representative.

Connecting to Your Sysomos Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Sysomos Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Sysomos account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:
