Connecting to Your Zoho CRM Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Zoho CRM Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains a single field where you enter your Zoho CRM Auth Token. (For information about obtaining a token, see "Prerequisites," above.) Once you have entered valid Microsoft credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Zoho CRM DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Method menu, in which you specify the data you want to retrieve. Depending on the selected method, various other menus may appear.

Select the Zoho CRM data you want to retrieve. The following methods are available:

Custom View Records

Retrieves data with respect to the Custom View in Zoho CRM.

My Records

Retrieves all users' data specified in the API request.

Search Records

Lets you enter a conditional statement to search records.

Retrieves the list of users in your organization.

Select the Zoho CRM module to pull data from.

Past Days

Enter the number of days of data to retrieve. For example, entering 30 would pull data for the last 30 days.

Search Condition

Enter a search statement to filter data in your report. The format is as follows:

(Column Name|operator|search value)

For example, entering (Created By|=|Joe) would search the "Created By" column for rows equaling "Joe."

All of the following operators are available:

=, <>, <, >, <=, >=, contains, starts with, ends with, doesn't contain

See Zoho API Help Link for more help.

Custom View Name Option Select a custom view name for your report. If the name you want is not here, you can enter it in the Custom View Name field.
Custom View Name Enter the custom view name here if the desired name is not found in the Custom View Name Option dropdown.
User Type Select the user type you want to pull data for.

Other Panes

For information about the remaining sections of the connector interface, including how to configure scheduling, retry, and update options, see Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Issues sometimes arise with this connector from permissioning problems. If any data is missing for any reason, then most likely the credentials being used for the connector have fewer permissions than expected. Either enter credentials with full Zoho CRM system access or, through Zoho CRM, provide the account linked to Domo with the proper access.
