Intro

Pipedrive is a CRM and sales pipeline tool designed with small teams in mind. The Pipedrive QuickStart helps sales managers keep a pulse on their business by tracking prospect trends, sales goals, and individual rep performance.

Usage

Authentication

A Pipedrive API key is required to authenticate. To obtain your Pipedrive API Key:

  1. Log in to your Pipedrive account.

  2. Click on your name in the top left corner, then Settings.

  3. Click on Personal, and then API,

  4. Copy the API token.

  5. Go back to the Pipedrive connector screen in Domo and paste in your API key in the API Key field.

Shows the amount of sales revenue over time and forecasts revenue for this period. Compare forecasts to your goals and make adjustments, as necessary.

Shows total open opportunity value by stage. Analyze deals in each stage of the pipeline for quantity and quality.

Ranks sales reps by the number of open opportunities.   Combine with opportunity stages and aging to identify reps who aren't managing their opportunity pipeline. Clean out stale opportunities and reassign quality opportunities that have been neglected to increase close rates.

Measures the average sales cycle length in days for deals closed. Decrease average sales cycle by training sales staff on messaging, positioning and on guiding prospects through a clear decisioning process.

WIN RATE
Compares the win rate against the number of deals won and the number of deals lost over the specified period. Consider improving declining win rates by addressing common customer concerns and modifying sales rep performance incentives. Long-term declines can indicate problems with lead source and opportunity qualifying.
